Sometimes it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. In this case it was both. For two years on the trot, HDY has had the pleasure of working alongside the UK’s largest free careers fair, WorldSkills UK LIVE. Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC, the event is aimed at young people aged between 14-24, and each year sees in excess of 80,000 people flood its doors.
With an awesome mix of radio advertising, advertorials, organic social, paid social, PPC and tier one influencer engagement counting the likes of West Midlands’ Mayor, Andy Street; Michelin-star restaurateur, Glynn Purnell; ex-Olympian, Kelly Sotherton; radio DJs, Rob Howard and John ‘JD’ Dalziel; ex-England footballer Tony Daley; and founder of Help Harry Help Others charity, Georgie Moseley, for the past two years we’ve created a big impression for WorldSkills!
Utilising our amazing influencers we created a series of channel-specific films at break-neck speed, pushing them out through a range of owned and paid channels to draw in the crowds – and draw in the crowds they did.
