We’re excited to announce that HDY has been invited to participate in The Moodie Davitt Travel Retail Expo this October.
In a pioneering response to the challenging global situation, the five-day event will be held virtually this year, boldly embracing the power of digitalisation!
The need for the travel industry to transform in a post-covid landscape has spurred innovation and proved it is possible for leading players within the sector to change with the tides.
As an agency with a knack for delivering impressive retail campaigns for award-winning global travel brands, we think we’ll fit right in at this year’s online symposium!
Our close work with a leading cruise retail specialist had us curating three standout seasonal campaigns that were displayed onboard the likes of P&O, Marella and Cunard. Through eye-catching animation and clever POS strategy we enticed customers both in-cabin and in-store.
Sleek, high-end cruises demand refined campaigns to match – a challenge accepted by the unflappable HDY team. Collaborating with luxury cruise brand Cunard, we created a top-notch single malt whisky experience to promote The Dalmore, (which went down very smoothly).
With a focus on the roaring 20s, we also devised a sharp and multi-faceted campaign to suit Cunard’s shrewd shoppers. It included videography, animation and lightboxes, to amaze with an array of retail visuals.
With digital quickly becoming a key part of shopping onboard, we worked closely with our wonderful client Harding to create an app to digitalise retail browsing on cruise ships. Collaborating with Appoly, the Love Cruise Shopping app was developed, offering a personalised and interactive user experience.
We’re really looking forward to seeing what the Travel Retail Expo’s immersive virtual platform has to showcase, with so many exciting new concept within the industry!
